Engineering Project Manger



The Dyer Partnership has immediate need for a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer with water and wastewater treatment,
distribution, and collection experience. The senior civil/environmental engineer works under the direction of principal
engineers to manage and be accountable for municipal projects. Duties include the following:
 |
Plan, design, and implement water and wastewater improvement projects
 |
 |
Prepare and present scope and estimates for requests-for-proposals for clients and prospective clients
 |
Develop work plan, schedule, and budget for each phase of project
 |
Coordinate activities of project team for progress on schedule and budget
 |
Confer with project team to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
 |
Coordinate project activities with regulatory agencies
 |
 |
Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis
 |
The position requires a dependable, detail-oriented person who is able to multitask in a casual office environment. The person must
consistently maintain accuracy and quality in the work. The person in this position should be able to handle multiple demands, and
rapidly changing priorities. The position heavily relies on experience and judgment to plan and implement successful projects.
The senior civil/environmental engineer should have the following strengths:
Knowledge of water quality engineering concepts
 |
Knowledge of general municipal and regulatory procedures
 |
 |
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, AutoCAD and modeling software
 |
Strong skill in verbal and written communications
 |
 |
Ability to deal in a sensitive and professional manner with employees and clients
 |
 |
Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with employees and clients
 |
Ability to organize and maintain design and construction job records
 |
 |
Ability to maintain neat and orderly work area so that others can access project information
 |
The candidate should have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
 |
Oregon Professional Engineering license
 |
Minimum five years of experience in project management positions
 |
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
 |
